Sub-Zero Repair Services in Downtown San Diego
Every service below is work we do week in, week out on built-in equipment in Downtown San Diego homes.
Refrigerator Repair Services
Full-height built-ins and integrated columns, the narrow 30 and 36 inch units that fit a condo galley, and refrigerator drawers set under a bar.
Freezer Repair Solutions
Freezer columns, undercounter freezer drawers and the freezer half of a classic built-in, along with the defrost, gasket and drain work that keeps them at zero.
Ice Maker Repair
Ice makers built into the freezer column, standalone clear-ice machines under a bar, and the water lines, filters, inlet valves and drains that feed them.
Wine Cooler Repair
Dual-zone wine columns, undercounter wine cabinets and beverage centers: zone drift, condensation inside the glass, seal and hinge work, door heaters, circulation fans and dampers.
Electrical & Component Repair
Control boards, user interfaces, thermistors and sensors, door switches, lighting, alarms, wiring and connectors on built-in refrigeration and wine storage.
Preventative Maintenance
A maintenance visit here covers the condenser and grille, every door gasket end to end, the defrost drain and the water path to the ice maker.
Our wine cabinet stands out in the living space against the glass and it was losing a few degrees every afternoon while the panel still read what I set. He measured down at the bottles, cleared the grille where it was breathing into the island, remeasured. No part, and he said so plainly.
Water on the floor of the loft and all I could think about was the ceiling of the unit under us. Same day, defrost drain iced shut, flushed it and checked the heater. Nothing got past the towels.
Frost came back on the rear wall of the freezer column about a week after I scraped it all off. We are two blocks from the water and he said the damp air coming in every time the door opens makes it show up much faster here. Heater and a thermistor.
